Two Adults Dead in San Bernardino Elementary School Murder-Suicide

At Least One Victim Is Reportedly a Teacher

Two adults are dead in what police are describing as a murder-suicide at a San Bernardino, California elementary school. Two others, possibly students, have been shot and taken to a local hospital, Chief Jarrod Burguan said. It is believed this was an incidence of domestic violence.

Police say they are not looking for the shooter, suggesting he or she was one of those killed. One of the victims reportedly was a teacher.

Children are being bussed to a different location so they can be reunited with their parents.

UPDATE I: 3:02 PM EDT –
Via the LA Times:

The shooting comes as San Bernardino has seen a major increase in violence.

There were 62 slayings in San Bernardino in 2016 — a 41% increase from the year before. It was the deadliest year in the city since 1995.

The violence is an open wound on a city trying to recover from a prolonged bankruptcy and the 2015 terror attack.
