Fox Reportedly Using Trump’s ‘Access Hollywood’ Tape for Harassment Seminars
Trump Declared April National Sexual Assault and Prevention Month
21st Century Fox has reportedly been screening Donald Trump’s infamous “Access Hollywood†tape, in which the president brags about sexually assaulting women, during its harassment seminars for employees.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a Fox employee on the condition of anonymity detailed the tape’s inclusion in the company’s seminars on “bad behavior in the workplace.â€
The seminars, described as a series of “routine workshops at multiple divisions at Fox,†are focused on “preventing harassment, discrimination and retaliation in the workplace,†something Fox has notoriously struggled with for quite some time—most recently with Bill O’Reilly.
The ‘Access Hollywood’ tape, which made its way to the public eye last October, infamously showed Donald Trump bragging about kissing, groping, and trying to have sex with women, all while married to Melania Trump. “When you’re a star, they let you do it,†the president told then-host Billy Bush, bragging about grabbing women “by the p—y.†The full video, originally obtained by The Washington Post, can be seen below:
“They went through the scenario of the tape, why it was harassment and why it’s something you should report,†the Fox employee told THR. “There was an audible gasp in the room, like, ‘Can you believe this is happening?’â€Â
“Someone joked about getting fired for harassment and wondering if the defense could be, ‘We were only told a behavior was bad once in a seminar,’†the employee said, “but Fox News said it was ‘just locker room talk’ over and over again.â€
“It was a joke,†the employee said, “but it did not play well in the room.†A Fox spokesperson reportedly declined to comment on Trump’s inclusion in the harassment presentation.
Ironically, the Trump White House declared April to be National Sexual Assault and Prevention Month.
