5 Things for Friday

Here’s What You Need to Know to Start Your Day

Good morning!

It’s Friday, and it’s the start of a what will be a hectic day and weekend on the political front.

Here are 5 things you need to know:

    • Late Thursday night President Trump made what could be called threatening remarks toward North Korea: “There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea. Absolutely,” Trump told Reuters.
    • Either the Democrats’ threat to shut down the government worked, or more likely, there just are not enough votes for the horrific, latest TrumpCare bill – there will be no vote today or this weekend, contrary to suggestions by House Republicans there could be a vote today.
    • Conspiracy theorist and fake news purveyor whose lawyers claimed his on-air persona is all an act, basically lost his court case to keep sole custody of his children. His ex-wife has now gained joint custody, and gets to decide which parent the children will live with.
    • MSNBC continues its move to the right. Republican strategist Nicolle Wallace, already an MSNBC contributor, gets her own show at 4 PM, bumping Steve Kornacki, who will continue a role on the show.
    • And lastly, this audio of Trump sums up everything…

Enjoy the weekend! And stay with us as we take a look at Trump’s 100th day tomorrow.
