WATCH: Ted Koppel Tells Sean Hannity He’s Bad for America (And It’s Awesome)

Hannity Attacks ‘Liberal Snowflakes’ and Tells Ted Koppel ‘Liberalism Has to Be Defeated’

Fireworks erupted when highly-respected veteran journalist Ted Koppel took on Fox News host Sean Hannity face-to-face on CBS News’ “Sunday Morning” (full segment above, clip below.)

“You think I’m bad for America?” Hannity demanded of Koppel.

Yup,” Koppel responded. “In the long-haul I think you and all these opinion shows—”

“Really? That’s sad, Ted. That’s sad,” a petulant Hannity interjected, his head shaking.

“No, you know why? Because you’re very good at what you do, and because you have attracted a significantly more influential—” Koppel offered.

“You are selling the American people short,” Hannity interrupted.

“No, let me finish the sentence before you do that,” Koppel requested.

“I’m listening. With all due respect. Take the floor,” Hannity said.

“You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts,” Koppel replied.

The feud overflowed onto social media, with Hannity crying, “Fake ‘edited’ news”:

Far right wing pundit Dana Loesch, a former mom-blogger turned Tea Party activist then Breitbart editor, told “Fox & Friends” Koppel is dishonest and the American people don’t need him to tell them what’s propaganda.
