“How Is He So Bad At Sitting?”: Twitter Hilariously Mocks NYT Photo Of Donald Trump Jr.

“When did County Seat get back in business?”

The New York Times on Saturday published a profile of President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Jr., featuring a photo of him sitting on a tree stump at his father’s estate in Bedford, New York.

The story portrays Trump Jr., who’s currently managing his father’s real-estate empire, as an outdoorsman who “connects with heartland voters in a way that his more refined sister Ivanka may not.” Trump Jr. learned to hunt and fish from his maternal grandfather in Czechoslovakia, after his parents divorced following his father’s affair with Marla Maples.

In addition to promoting white supremacist views, Trump Jr. has been widely criticized over photos that first emerged in 2012 showing him on a hunting trip in Africa, including one of him holding a knife and the bloody tail of an elephant. But he credits his sporting lifestyle with helping him to quit partying, following a 2001 arrest for public drunkenness.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to the photo.
