President Donald Trump was spotted in cleats and in a cart on his golf course in Virginia on Saturday after the White House said he was there for meetings (photos above).Â
Trump, who was highly critical of President Barack Obama for allegedly playing too much golf, has now made 12 visits to courses he owns in nine weeks as president.Â
“POTUS remained out of sight of your pooler as we arrived at his golf club in Virginia,” White House pool reporter Adrian Carrasquillo of BuzzFeed News reported on Saturday. “He is in the ‘clubhouse’ we’re told and will have meetings today. We have asked who he will meet with and the wrangler is looking into it for us.Â
“After multiple inquiries, pool still does not know who the president has met with today over the last 3 hours,” Carrasquillo wrote later. “It is unclear why the Trump team can not find out this information for the pool. Will update if any information becomes available.”Â
