Trump Heads To His Golf Course Again. White House Says He “May Hit A Few Balls”

Administration Continues Its Shameful Cover-Up Of President’s Blatant Hypocrisy

President Donald Trump again traveled to his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on Sunday, according to a White House pool report. 

It marks Trump’s 11th trip to one of his golf courses in less than two months in office. 

“White House tells us that POTUS will be having ‘meetings and phone calls’ while at the golf club,” White House pool reporter Franco Order wrote. “He may also step out to hit some golf balls, we’re told but not yet confirmed. Your pooler inquired about who POTUS will the meeting and calls are with.” 

As we noted Saturday, Trump is spending his fifth weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort since Inauguration Day, at a cost to taxpayers of over $3 million per visit. 

Trump, who repeatedly criticized President Barack Obama for allegedly playing too much golf, also visited the course on Saturday. The White House didn’t confirm whether he played golf, but Trump pal Christopher Ruddy, the CEO of NewsMax, tweeted a photo of the president wearing a golf glove (above). 

“Your pooler has been informed (thank you Shannon Pettypiece) that Christopher Ruddy tweeted a picture of POTUS at the club with a golf glove on,” White House pool reporter wrote Saturday afternoon. “Have been told that the president took meetings and phone calls at the club and may have stepped out to hit a few balls. But was not given a confirmation as to whether he played any golf.”
