“No Photos?”: Twitter Mocks Trump For Thanking Supporters Who Attended Pathetic Rallies

“March 4 Trump” Events Drew 200 In New York City, 150 In Washington

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Saturday afternoon to thank those who attended dozens of relatively small “March 4 Trump” rallies across the country on Saturday.

“Thank you for the great rallies all across the country. Tremendous support. Make America Great Again!” he wrote.

The rallies came two weeks after Trump claimed on Twitter, in response to a steady string of protests against his administration, that a rally of his supporters would be “the biggest of them all.”

According to Reuters, “March 4 Trump” events drew 200 people in New York City and 150 in Washington, D.C.

“In many towns and cities, the rallies did not draw more than a few hundred people,” Reuters reported. “At some, supporters of the president were at risk of being outnumbered by small groups of anti-Trump protesters who gathered to shout against the rallies.”

According to the Associated Press, several of the rallies turned violent, resulting in numerous arrests. And one Trump supporter at an Ohio rally said she increasingly fears civil war.

“We did not want to have something like this happen,” she said. “We came out today because Trump deserves to see he still has people for him. It’s just all sad.”
