Foreign Policy via Twitter: Trump Tweets Attack on North Korea
As His Secretary of State Threatens Pre-Emptive Action While in South Korea
Hours after Secretary of State Rex Tillerson during a visit to South Korea announced “all of the options are on the table” when it comes to using military force against North Korea, President Donald Trump Friday morning posted to Twitter that the totalitarian dictatorship “is behaving very badly.”
North Korea is behaving very badly. They have been “playing” the United States for years. China has done little to help!

The New York Times reports Tillerson “said for the first time that the Trump administration might be forced to take pre-emptive action” against North Korea “if they elevate the threat of their weapons program’ to an unacceptable level.”
Intelligence expert Malcolm Nance, who ofen appears on MSNBC, posted this to Twitter a few hours before Trump’s tweet:

Tillerson, who initially refused to allow a pool of reporters to accompany him, as is customary, took just one. She has not filed any stories.
