Forced to Delete Tweet Twice Before Getting it Right
President Donald Trump Friday flew to Florida where he spent a few hours in a private Catholic K-8 school to advocate for school choice, the stripping away of tax dollars from public schools to hand them over to private, religious, or usually for-profit charter schools.
Before landing, the President launched a chilling attack on Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, tweeting a 2003 news photo of the New York Senator having coffee and donuts with Vladimir Putin. Trump tweeted he was demanding an investigation into Schumer’s ties to Russia and the Russian leader.Â
After leaving Orlando’s Saint Andrew Catholic School, the president posted this tweet, misspelling the word hereby:
Â
Recognizing his mistake, the president deleted the tweet, reposting the attack, and again misspelling the word hereby:
On the third try, he got it right.Â
I hereby demand a second investigation, after Schumer, of Pelosi for her close ties to Russia, and lying about it. https://t.co/qCDljfF3wN

Irony:
We must fix our education system for our kids to Make America Great Again. Wonderful day at Saint Andrew in Orlando. pic.twitter.com/OTJaHcvLzf

But perhaps the Commander-in-Chief shouldn’t be wasting time tweeting threats and attacks on the heads of the Democratic party at all. Because that’s what dictators and fascists do.
Especially when they tweet it from their official government President of the United States Twitter account:
I hereby demand a second investigation, after Schumer, of Pelosi for her close ties to Russia, and lying about it. https://t.co/ZLTxCuY9qU
— President Trump (@POTUS) March 3, 2017
That’s dangerous.Â
Some responses via Twitter:

@KeithOlbermann What’s the correct spelling of the word that’s posing a problem for Trump?
1. Hear by
2. Hearby
3. Hereby
4. Perjury— Jonathan Kaye (@JonathanMKaye) March 3, 2017
@realDonaldTrump @politico you’re spending your time tweeting, deleting & retweeting same thing over & over again? Don’t you have a job??
— 🇠(@VeeVee) March 3, 2017
It’s not surprising Trump can’t spell “hereby,” it’s used a bunch in the Constitution. #CoveringTrump

@realDonaldTrump you are not a king, you don’t work for Daddy Vladdy, you work for us, you are specifically our employee.

How many tweets did it take for Trump to spell “hereby” right? pic.twitter.com/kTQt932QRE
