WATCH: Trump Blames Obama for Anti-Trump Protests

‘Is That a Violation of the So-Called Unsaid Presidents’ Code?’ Fox News Asks

President Donald Trump blames his predecessor for the massive protests against him that began one day after his election and have continued every weekend since. The January 21 Women’s March was the largest in history.

“I think that President Obama is behind it because his people are certainly behind it, and some of the leaks possibly come from that group,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” Tuesday morning.

Trump was asked by Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, “Do you believe President Obama is behind it and if he is, is that a violation of the so-called unsaid presidents’ code?”

There is no “so-called unsaid presidents’ code,” although former presidents often have chosen to not publicly comment on their successors’ performance.

The Trump administration has been plagued by leaks across nearly all agencies, including the White House. Last week Sean Spicer held a follow up meeting with a dozen press office staffers to again warn them to not leak info to the media. He also, while flanked by White House attorneys, checked their government and personal cell phones for evidence to determine who was leaking. News of that meeting leaked immediately.
