WATCH: Reporter Challenges Trump on False Claim His Electoral College Win Was ‘Biggest Since Reagan’

‘I’ve Seen That Information Around’

During a rambling press conference Thursday, President Donald Trump faced a determined press prepared to challenge his weeks worth of lies and false statements. At one point during the event, Trump, as he frequently does, falsely claimed his Electoral College win was the biggest “since Ronald Reagan.”

In reality, Trump’s Electoral College win was mediocre at best. It ranks 46th out of 58. And, though he never mentions it, Hillary Clinton beat him by nearly 2.9 million votes.

Here’s Trump making his false claim:

NBC News’ National Correspondent Peter Alexander challenged the president on his lie, rattling off the wins of his presidential predecessors.

“So why should Americans trust you when you accuse the information they receive as being fake when you’re providing fake information?”

Trump’s response?

“I was given that information…I’ve seen that information around.”

Well, at least now he knows…
