Trump Fear-Tweets About Louvre Attack – Has Never Publicly Offered Condolences for Quebec Mosque Mass Shooting

Trump’s Silence Is Deafening

President Donald Trump has made his position clear: he is anti-Muslim.

Trump spent his campaign attacking Muslims, calling for “a complete shutdown” on Muslims entering the U.S. Rudy Giuliani said Trump asked him to draft a Muslim ban in a manner to make it legal.

Every time there is a breaking news report about a possible terror attack, Trump quickly – often with little evidence – takes to Twitter to announce it as a terror attack and to tie it to Muslims.

Friday morning, he did just that.

“A new radical Islamic terrorist has just attacked in Louvre Museum in Paris. Tourists were locked down. France on edge again. GET SMART U.S.,” trump tweeted.

The facts so far are a madman wielding a machete near the Louvre in Paris was shot by French soldiers. No one was killed, one soldier was wounded but not seriously, and the alleged terrorist, who shouted “Allahu akbar,” was shot five times by police. He is alive.

Trump, however, has yet to publicly say one word about the mass shooting in a much closer foreign country.

In Quebec City on Sunday, a madman opened fire into a mosque where 50 Muslims were praying. Six people were shot dead. Eight others were wounded.

Not a word in public from the United States president, although he did call Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.

Trump is very generous in tweeting out condolences to the families of famous people who have passed, and to the families of victims of accidents and terror attacks. He is quick to tweet thoughts and prayers to victims of hurricanes, storms and tornadoes, wildfires, to the families of fallen police officers and fire fighters, even to “the victims and families of those affected by two powerful earthquakes in Italy and Myanmar.”

But not a word about the massacre in a Quebec mosque.

In fact, here are the only tweets Trump has posted about mosques:

Donald Trump just can’t bring himself to show an ounce of compassion toward Muslims. His silence is deafening.

Trump’s “disregard for Muslims is so evident,” Tarek Ismail, a senior staff attorney with the Creating Law Enforcement Accountability & Responsibility project (CLEAR) at CUNY Law School told The Huffington Post.

The Huffington Post also called it “deeply unusual for a world leader to not offer public condolences.”

Classmates of the alleged Quebec mosque shooter “say he was a white nationalist who loved President Trump,” Salon reports.

Could that have anything to do with Trump’s silence?
