Trump Furious Over Melissa McCarthy’s Portrayal of Sean Spicer – Because She’s a Woman

Trump Thinks a Woman Playing a Man Makes Them Look ‘Weak’

President Donald Trump is furious over last weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” skit in which actress Melissa McCarthy portrayed White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer. It’s not so much that Spicer was depicted as an angry, double-talking unhinged liar, but, according to a report in Politico, it’s that Melissa McCarthy is a woman.

“More than being lampooned as a press secretary who makes up facts, it was Spicer’s portrayal by a woman that was most problematic in the president’s eyes, according to sources close to him,” Politico’s report states.

Trump is known for focusing on surface details. Last week news broke that women working in his administration have been told they need to dress like a woman.

“Trump likes the women who work for him ‘to dress like women,’ says a source who worked on Trump’s campaign,” Axios reported.

“Even if you’re in jeans, you need to look neat and orderly.” We hear that women who worked in Trump’s campaign field offices — folks who spend more time knocking on doors than attending glitzy events — felt pressure to wear dresses to impress Trump.

According to a top donor, the President “doesn’t like his people to look weak,” which, in his mind, Spicer did, because a woman played him.

McCarthy’s portrayal of Spicer was not only a brilliant performance, it was dead-on.

But since new broke that President Trump’s greatest problem with it was that Spicer was played by a woman, at least one woman has come forward offering to play other top Trump administration officials.

After Twitter called for Rosie O’Donnell to join the fray, she offered to play Trump’s Senior White House Advisor, Steve Bannon:
