Worst Ratings in History
Donald Trump has been president for just four weeks but his disapproval rating is already making history. Never has a president had such low approval ratings and such high disapproval ratings in such a short period of time.Â
As they do each afternoon, Gallup has just published Trump’s latest daily numbers, and they are the worst yet.
Less than four out of ten Americans (38%) now approve of how President Trump is doing his job, and a whopping 56 percent of Americans, almost six out of ten, disapprove of how Trump is performing as president. The numbers represent a three-day rolling average.
By comparison, four weeks in to the job, President Barack Obama had an approval rating in the low to mid 60’s, as did President George W. Bush.
