Sean Spicer So Angry About White House Leaks He Held a Meeting Warning Staffers – Which Immediately Leaked

  • Meeting Included White House Lawyers

  • Mandatory Check of Staffers’ Phones Included

Sean Spicer is so angry about leaks coming out of the White House he held a meeting with his own staff to try to end the damaging disclosures – which immediately leaked.

After a meeting held with 12 of his own staffers leaked to the press, Politico, citing “sources in the room,” reports Spicer dragged them into another “unexpected” confidential meeting, and had them hand over the government-issued and personal cell phones for inspection. Spicer told them that using encrypting apps like Confide, which destroy messages as soon as they are sent and received, and Signal, which claims to be a secure messaging service, violate the Federal Record Act.

NCRM has previously reported White House staffers’ use of these apps violates federal law.

Spicer, who consulted with White House counsel Don McGahn before calling the meeting, was accompanied by White House lawyers in the room, according to multiple sources,” Politico adds.

Spicer also warned the group of more problems if news of the phone checks and the meeting about leaks was leaked to the media. It’s not the first time that warnings about leaks have promptly leaked.”
