Is Embattled National Security Advisor Michael Flynn About to Be Fired? Trump ‘Evaluating the Situation’
President Notoriously Loyal to Supporters
Retired General Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s controversial National Security advisor, may become one of if not the first person to ever be fired by two presidents in a row. Flynn was fired by President Barack Obama when he was the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency.Â
Flynn’s position with Trump, first as a top campaign advisor, and now as his National Security advisor, has always been controversial. Flynn’s close ties to Russia and President Vladimir Putin have been great cause for concern. A photo of Flynn at a black tie event at the Kremlin, sitting at Putin’s table (as was Jill Stein), has not helped Americans trust him.
Weeks ago news broke the claimed Flynn had spoken with top Russian officials the day President Obama sanctioned Russia for intervening in the U.S. election. Earlier, reports claimed Flynn on numerous occasions had had conversation with Russian officials. Recently, Vice President Pence insisted Flynn’s conversation with Russia had nothing to do with Obama’s sanctions, and sanctions were not even discussed.
Not true.
“Several current and former U.S. officials say National Security Adviser Michael Flynn discussed new sanctions imposed on Russia by the Obama administration during conversations with that country’s ambassador in December,” New York Magazine reported last week. “That may be illegal, and to make matters worse, it contradicts denials made by senior members of the Trump administration, including Vice-President Mike Pence.”
Oops.
Late Monday afternoon, Chief White House Propaganda machine Kellyanne Conway took to the airwaves to state Gen. Flynn has President Trump’s full support. Just before that, reports leaked that Flynn had apologized to Pence, after saying that he may have talked sanctions with Russian officials. and just couldn’t remember.
I mean, I guess no one in the WH cares that Flynn lied to the Vice President? And then had the VP lie to the press on his behalf?

When Conway’s comments were met with outrage and hostility on social media, one hour later Dean Spicer announced Trump is “evaluating the situation.”
Conway at 4:07: “Gen. Flynn does enjoy the full confidence of the president.”
Spicer at 5:11: “The president is evaluating the situation.”— Terence Burlij (@burlij) February 13, 2017

Flynn is a dangerous to America’s security. He plays loose with facts and is obsessed with his anti-Islam beliefs.
Deleted after the media exposed it, Flynn one year ago this month infamously tweeted, “Fear of Muslims is RATIONAL: please forward this to others: the truth fears no questions…” The post linked to a YouTube video.
