After Banning Some Muslims and Refugees Trump Kills Many Federal Regulations, Including Consumer Protections
President Donald Trump has just signed yet another executive order, this one he says “dramatically” reduces regulations, which include consumer protections. In an arbitrary move, the President has decided that for every new regulation that goes into effect, two must be voided.
Trump said later today he will be signing another order, both of which will “begin our effort to dramatically reduce federal regulations, and we’ll be reducing them big league, and their damaging effects on our small businesses, our economy, our entrepreneurial spirit.”
Trump, three days after banning Muslims from seven countries and refugees, claimed “the American dream is back.”
Details of the order have yet to be released. More to come.
