WATCH: President Barack Obama Places Letter to Trump in Resolute Desk, Leaves Oval Office for Last Time
Incredible Moment in History
President Barack Obama placed a letter he wrote to his predecessor in the famous Resolute Desk, shortly before 9:30 AM EST Friday morning, as has been a White House tradition for decades.
The outgoing Commander-in-Chief took a last look around at an Oval Office vastly transformed from just hours earlier, photos removed from walls, personal effects packed, all in preparation for the soon-to-be sworn in President Donald Trump.
