‘The Soulless, Machiavellian Despot America Deserves’
Samantha Bee paid tribute to incoming Donald Trump White House advisor Kellyanne Conway on her TBS “Full Frontal” late night show this week, by giving her the roasting she deserves.
Mocking the conservative media, Bee decried how “unfair” it is that Conway, after becoming the first woman campaign manager to win the White House by pulling off “the historic feat of electing a sexual predator who thinks women should be punished for having abortions,” sarcastically complained that feminists didn’t celebrate by giving her a VOGUE cover. “Although,” Bee notes, “she did get the cover of ‘Pussy-Grabber Enabler Monthly,’ so that’s something.”
But Bee was just getting started.
Calling Conway, “Donald Trump’s omnipresent spokescobra,” Bee highlighted Conway’s amazing ability to take any position, noting that before she became Donald Trump’s number one defender, she was among his top critics.
“As racists who don’t feel like racists keep telling us, we should never judge anybody by what they say or do, but only by what’s in their heart,†Bee said, mocking what Conway had recently whipped up to defend Trump.  “And I know Kellyanne doesn’t believe those homophobic, sexist things in her heart, because Kellyanne doesn’t believe anything in her heart. She will say literally anything.â€
Among the “anything” Conway has said before becoming Trump’s campaign manager, Bee showed, were Conway’s attacks on Trump for not releasing his taxes, attacks on Trump for “not paying contractors,” for Trump University, for “victims of Trump in Atlantic City,” and for being “fairly unpresidential.”
In the end, Bee wonders, “Why the hell is he the president instead of her? Kellyanne is the soulless Machiavellian despot America deserves!â€
