U.S. Rep. Tom Price (R-GA), whose shady stock trades were the focus of Democrats during his first Senate committee confirmation hearing, will face the Finance Committee at 10 AM EST Tuesday morning. Price, who has served as the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, was caught in recent weeks having sponsored and pushed legislation that would benefit companies in which he owned stock. Some of those purchases were made within days of his advocating legislation on their behalf.Â
Price is one of the top anti-Obamacare Republicans, and hopes to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, along with Medicare and Medicaid.
