WATCH: Donald Trump Says Important Information ‘Should Be Sent via Courier Like in the Old Days’

‘I Have a Boy Who’s 10 Years Old, He Can Do Anything With a Computer’

Donald Trump says that important information should not be sent by computers but via courier because computers aren’t safe. The president-elect told reporters Saturday evening on his way to his New Year’s Eve for-profit celebration that even his 10-year old son “can do anything with a computer.” Trump has been on a mission to discount the conclusions of all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia hacked the U.S. and intervened in the American election.

“It’s very important, if you have something really important, write it out and have it delivered by courier, the old fashioned way because I’ll tell you what, no computer is safe,” the president-elect told reporters, as The Hill reported.

“I don’t care what they say, no computer is safe. I have a boy who’s 10 years old, he can do anything with a computer. You want something to really go without detection, write it out and have it sent by courier,” Trump added.

Politico cybersecurity expert Eric Geller was among the first to report Trump’s remarks, via the Huffington Post’s S.V. Dáte’s pool reporting:

In this Fox News video that captured Trump’s remarks, a Fox News anchor says the right wing news network is “going to take full credit” for Trump being elected, because Trump rang in the new year on Fox News one year ago. “We were the lucky charm to get him over the top,” the anchor added.
