Trump Makes It Official: First Press Conference in Nearly 170 Days Will Be Held Next Week

Massive Conflicts of Interest Expected to Be on Agenda

Donald Trump will hold his first press conference in what currently is 161 days on January 11, the president-elect just announced via Twitter. He is expected to discuss how he will avoid the massive conflicts of interest he is facing now but which will formally hit the moment he is sworn in to office.

Earlier Tuesday incoming White House advisor Kellyanne Conway revealed the transition team was planning on January 11 but noted it was not set in stone yet.

Trump originally had scheduled this press conference for December 12 but canceled two days prior.

The question now becomes if he will cancel once again, and if he does not cancel will he take the necessary steps to remove any conflicts of interest?
