Trump Blows Kiss To FBI Director James Comey, Who Helped Him Win Election

“He’s Become More Famous Than Me,” President Says

During a White House reception for law enforcement on Sunday, President Donald Trump appeared to blow a kiss to FBI Director James Comey.

In the video above, Trump spots Comey across the room, then puckers his lips and makes a kissing gesture, before summoning him over.

Then, as Politico notes, “Comey strolled across the room to greet Trump, who shook his hand and put an arm around him, slapping him on the back.”

Trump also may have kissed Comey on the cheek.

“He’s become more famous than me,” Trump reportedly said of Comey.

Many Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, believe Comey swung the election in favor of Trump when he sent a letter to Congress announcing that the FBI was reopening an investigation into her use of a private email server.

“There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful,” Clinton told donors after her defeat, adding that “our analysis is that Comey’s letter raising doubts that were groundless, baseless, proven to be, stopped our momentum.”
