Trump Believes There Is Massive Voter Fraud Because His Friend Was Barred From Voting but Hispanics Were Not. His Friend Is Not a US Citizen.

Part II of Trump Proves He Is Like Your Crazy Fox News Watching Uncle No One Can Talk Any Sense Into

Earlier today we shared with you a video clip from Trump’s insane interview with ABC News’ David Muir, in which the President of the United States proved he is incapable of grasping or accepting any new information, also known as facts, that disprove his deeply held beliefs. That’s dangerous, especially since so many of President Trump’s beliefs are faulty.

Here’s another example, from The New York Times.

On Monday afternoon, as we know, Pres. Trump met with a bipartisan group of congressional leaders, and spent ten minutes telling them that 3 to 5 million people voted “illegally,” in an attempt to explain why he lost the popular vote. Now we learn that he also shared with them a story about why he believes there is massive voter fraud in America. The story is tinged with racism, and proves just how dangerous Trump really is.

The Times cites as the source of their reporting “three staff members who were in the room for the meeting” on Monday. They say Trump told a story about his friend, “the very famous golfer, Bernhard Langer.”

Langer, the Times reports, is “a 59-year-old native of Bavaria, Germany — a winner of the Masters twice and of more than 100 events on major professional golf tours around the world — was standing in line at a polling place near his home in Florida on Election Day, the president explained, when an official informed Mr. Langer he would not be able to vote.”

Ahead of and behind Mr. Langer were voters who did not look as if they should be allowed to vote, Mr. Trump said, according to the staff members — but they were nonetheless permitted to cast provisional ballots. The president threw out the names of Latin American countries that the voters might have come from.

Mr. Langer, whom he described as a supporter, left feeling frustrated, according to a version of events later contradicted by a White House official.

The anecdote, the aides said, was greeted with silence, and Mr. Trump was prodded to change the subject by Reince Priebus, the White House chief of staff, and Senator John Cornyn, Republican of Texas.

Just one problem: Mr. Langer, who lives in Boca Raton, Fla., is a German citizen with permanent residence status in the United States who is, by law, barred from voting, according to Mr. Langer’s daughter Christina.

“He is a citizen of Germany,” she said, when reached on her father’s cellphone. “He is not a friend of President Trump’s, and I don’t know why he would talk about him.”

The Times reports “a White House official claimed the president had been telling a story relayed to the golfer by one of Mr. Langer’s friends.”

That’s immaterial, as the story, either way, is the basis for Trump’s false “beliefs” about voter fraud. An anecdote, or, as the Times calls the story, “a prime policy mover for a president whose fact-gathering owes more to the oral tradition than the written word.”

Remember, Trump is calling for a sweeping investigation into voter fraud, which he likely will use to disenfranchise millions of legitimate voters.

Donald Trump foments violence and hate, is a serial liar, a racist, a misogynist, a supporter of white nationalism, a fascistic bully, an authoritarian thug, a sexual assault and adultery braggart, a hypocrite, a defrauder, and is a danger to civil rights, freedom of the press, and peace around the world.
