WATCH: Trump Voter Tells CNN ‘3 Million Illegals Voted’ in California Because ‘California Allows It’

Same Trump Supporter Who Says We Need the Wall Because ‘Illegals’ Are Burning American Flags

A Donald Trump voter says three million undocumented immigrants were allowed to vote in California last month. While her claim is totally false and there is absolutely nothing to substantiate it, it’s important to look at this because Democrats have been accused of losing elections by ignoring the very people who spout this nonsense.

“Paula” took part in a CNN group interview that aired on Thursday’s “New Day.”

“Voting is a privilege in this country, and you need to be legal – not like California, where three million illegals voted,” Paula told CNN’s Alisyn Camertoa.

Not a word of that statement is true – except that voting is reserved for U.S. Citizens.

First, voting is not a privilege, it’s a right of citizenship. Second, three million “illegals” did not vote in California. Ever.

Notably, NCRM published another article just hours ago featuring Paula, in which she told CNN that Donald Trump needs to build the wall between the U.S. and Mexico because “illegals are burning our flag and yet we’re not arresting them and deporting them.”

Paula proceeded to try to convince Camerota that CNN had reported that three million undocumented immigrants in California alone had voted in the November elections. Why the CNN host refused to accept that, Paula backed down by insisting it “was reported all across the media.”

So, what “media” is Paula paying following?

It would not be surprising if she’s referring to these sites that peddle in lies and fabrications, conspiracy theories and other nonsense:

INFOWARS: “REPORT: THREE MILLION VOTES IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION CAST BY ILLEGAL ALIENS”

TRUTHFEED: “BREAKING : Hillary’s ‘Popular Vote’ Came From Over 3 Million Votes Cast by NON CITIZENS”

Of course, Donald Trump’s insane tweet that claimed “millions” voted illegally, and he actually won the popular vote if you deduct votes from undocumented people, only helped to reinforce the nonsense.

Curiously, when challenged, Paula also said that if CNN did not report three million voted illegally, “they were being smart,” suggesting she knew her claim may have been false, but she shared it anyway.

And herein we have the issue.

While it would be unfair to say that all, or only, Trump supporters are willing to believe lies, the fact is that the purveyors of fake news have said they tried to amass an audience among liberals for their fake reports, and were unsuccessful. Fake news publishers however, found their offerings very lucrative when targeting conservatives and Trump supporters.

Paula went on to advance yet another falsehood, that President Barack Obama told undocumented immigrants “that they could vote,” she claimed.

Asked, “Did you hear President Obama say that illegal people could vote,” Paula and others in the group instantly responded, “Yes.”

Not surprising.

As Camerota found while talking to Paula, Fox News Business deceptively edited video of President Obama to make it seem like he was encouraging non-citizens to go out and vote. He did not.

Paula again insisted California allows undocumented immigrants to vote.

This is the problem.

Watch above, and let’s try to figure out how Democrats can reach people who are so entrenched in idiocy that they will believe anything – except the truth.
