Trump Opposes Sanctions in Response to Russian Hacking Because ‘Computers Have Complicated Lives Very Greatly’

Americans Need to ‘Get on With Our Lives’ President-Elect Insists

Donald Trump once again is defending and advocating to support Vladimir Putin and the Russian government. Support of Russia is one of the few positions Trump never reversed throughout the campaign or in the aftermath of the election.

Talking with reporters Wednesday afternoon Trump insisted America should just ignore the Russian government’s hacking of the U.S. election, something all 17 federal intelligence agencies agree took place. As President Barack Obama readies retribution and sanctions against Russia, Trump said Americans should just “get on with our lives.”

Trump who does not regularly use a computer, aside from his smartphone, told reporters, “I think that computers have complicated lives very greatly.”

“The whole age of computer has made it so nobody knows exactly what’s going on,” he added. Gizmodo notes Trump spoke while “standing next to boxing promoter and convicted murderer Don King, for some reason.”
