On World AIDS Day President Barack Obama Says ‘An AIDS-Free Generation Is Now Within Our Reach’

On this, the 29th annual World AIDS Day, President Barack Obama tells Americans that “an AIDS-free generation is now within our reach.”

And in this video recorded for World AIDS Day, the President notes, “Here and around the world, over 18 million people are receiving the treatment and care they need,†and says that “millions of infections have been prevented.”Â

He also called for banishing the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS, working to save lives, and helping people reach their potential.
