Neo-Nazi Trump Supporter Targets Jews In Montana Town, Lists Home Addresses
News Site Publishes Photos Of Residents Emblazoned With ‘Star Of David’
Andrew Anglin, a neo-Nazi Donald Trump supporter who publishes The Daily Stormer website, is targeting Jewish people in the small town of Whitefish, Montana, posting their photos and home addresses and calling for people to “take action” against them.Â
In a Daily Stormer post published Friday, Anglin called for “a troll storm” in response to a story in the British newspaper Daily Mail about Whitefish resident Sherry Spencer, the mother of white supremacist alt-right founder Richard Spencer. Sherry Spencer told the Daily Mail she was facing backlash from locals over her son’s views and might have to sell a building she owns in Whitefish. Anglin’s post was first reported by The Missoulian.Â
“This is the Jews for you, people,” Anglin wrote. “They are a vicious, evil race of hate-filled psychopaths.”
Anglin went on to single out several local Jewish residents, including a child, publishing their photos emblazoned with the “Star of David” and the word “Jude,” which is German for “Jew.” (The “Star of David” is the symbol Jews were forced to wear on their clothing in Nazi-occupied territories).
Using slurs including “kike” and “faggot,” Anglin also listed the Jewish residents’ home and work addresses, phone numbers, Twitter handles and email addresses. He advised The Daily Stormer‘s readers against “violence or threats of violence,” but encouraged them to contact the residents and even visit them in person.Â
“Tell them you are sickened by their Jew agenda to attack and harm the mother of someone whom they disagree with,” Anglin wrote. “There are only 6,000 Jews in the entire state of Montana, yet they’re 100% of the people trying to trying to silence Richard Spencer by harassing his mother. … There hasn’t ever been a more important campaign than this.”
The Daily Stormer, one of the nation’s most popular neo-Nazi news sites, endorsed Trump in June 2015, urging readers to “vote for the first time in our lives for the one man who actually represents our interests.â€
