Will Ivanka Take Role Traditionally Reserved for First Lady?
Ivanka Trump will have an office in the White House in an area typically reserved for the First Lady. Donald Trump has signaled that his two adult sons will run the day-to-day operations of his business empire, but in recent days it’s become clear his daughter Ivanka will work with him in the White House. CNN first reported the news:

All three of Trump’s adult children have been participating in decision making during the transition, including weighing in on cabinet member candidates and participating in meetings like today’s with a dozen tech CEO’s.
The president-elect’s wife, Melania Trump, will stay behind in New York City at least under the end of the school year. They share a son, Barron. It’s assumed Melania and Barron will join Donald in the White House sometimes next summer.
Donald Trump and his attorneys has been trying to find a way to allow both Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, to officially work with him in the White House, but there are anti-nepotism laws that forbid hiring of family in the executive branch.Â
