Half-Term Governor, Failed Vice Presidential Candidate and Reality TV Host Calls Nancy Pelosi ‘Disturbed’

EDITORIAL: If that’s being “disturbed,” feel free to add my name to that list.

Sarah Palin Tuesday afternoon launched an entirely unwarranted pot shot at newly re-elected Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, calling the 76-year old who has devoted the past 40 years of her life to others, “disturbed” and a “career politician.”

Palin, of course, tried to become a career politician but the American people came to a different conclusion about her aspirations when they elected Barack Obama and Joe Biden. That was a conclusion which she subsequently decided to agree with. Bored and ineffective, Palin quit her job halfway through her first term as Alaska’s governor so she could cash in on her new-found Tea Party fame.

Palin’s tweet links to an article in her favorite new website, Young Conservatives, which ignorantly trashes Nancy Pelosi for the Speaker’s condemnation of Ben Carson‘s nomination to be HUD secretary, a job for which he’s thoroughly unqualified.

Here’s the click bait title: “Moments After Nancy Pelosi Says Ben Carson Is ‘Unqualified’ for Cabinet, LOOK What Happens to Her…”

No, seriously, that’s the real title to a story that Sarah Palin just tweeted out.

Palin has been a brilliant opportunist, timing the social media market to raise her status despite demonstrating an inability to actually accomplish much except making money and getiing attention.

The former reality TV “star” is also the head of a super PAC that has donated a pittance in both cash and effort to those she has endorsed, and her track record of pushing those candidates across the winners’ line is poor, but let’s not forget Palin’s background.

Sarah Palin is the former Republican vice presidential candidate, former (and half-term) governor of Alaska, former chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, former Mayor of Wasilla, a former “Miss Congeniality,” a former sportscaster, a former head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, former star of “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” and twice-former Fox News contributor.

She’s also apparently the former “candidate” to become Donald Trump’s Secretary of Veterans Affairs, since, just days after making quite clear she wanted the job, she turned on Trump in what was one of her few correct calls, labeling his deal to save several hundred Carrier jobs in Indiana while over 1300 are getting sent to Mexico, “crony capitalism.”

But please Sarah, tell us why you wanted to be a career politician, failed, and now think it’s a bad thing. And please, tell us why Nancy Pelosi, the first woman Speaker of the House and without comparison the most effective Speaker in modern history, is “disturbed.”

Is it because she, like 2.7 million people more than voted for Donald Trump, believes in a different America than you and the billionaire tweeter do? Is it because she thinks BeN Carson has zero experience and is wholly unqualified to run a federal agency? (Don’t forget, Carson agreed!)

If so, count me In as “disturbed” as well.

In fact, the only thing that’s really disturbing is how Pain’s party is going to destroy America.

Fortunately, I can promise you we will do our absolute best, night and day, seven days a week, to stop Her and Donald Trump from doing too much damage.

If that’s being “disturbed,” feel free to add my name to that list.
