How Much More Openly, Actively Racist Can Fox News Get?
Fox News host Bill O’Reilly Tuesday evening told viewers that calls to eliminate the Electoral College are really racially motivated to hand power to “the left” because minorities tend to vote Democratic.Â
“The left wants power taken away from the white establishment,” The O’Reilly Factor host concluded in his “Talking Points Memo” commentary segment.
“The left in America is demanding that the Electoral College system put into place in 1787 be scrapped. But there is a hidden reason for this,” O’Reilly explained.
“Very few commentators will tell you that the heart of liberalism in America today is based on race. It permeates almost every issue. That white men have set up a system of oppression. That system must be destroyed,” he continued.
“White men have largely abandoned the Democrats, and the left believes it’s because of racism that they want to punish minorities, keep them down,” O’Reilly added.
“The left sees white privilege in America as an oppressive force that must be done away with,” he said, point-blank.
“The white establishment”? (At least he admits its existence…)
Openly advocating for white privilege?
O’Reilly is admitting the white establishment and white privilege exist, but he’s actually saying that they should, and should continue.
