Two Tweets Seconds Apart Contrast Trump’s Anger, Clinton’s Dignity
He Attacks Obama, While She Calls For ‘Hope, Determination’
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton took to Twitter just seconds apart on the day after Christmas, but to express vastly different sentiments.Â
Trump’s bitter tweet was in response to President Barack Obama’s suggestion, in a new CNN exit interview, that he would have beaten Trump had he been able to seek a third term:Â
President Obama said that he thinks he would have won against me. He should say that but I say NO WAY! – jobs leaving, ISIS, OCare, etc.

“President Obama said that he thinks he would have won against me,” Trump wrote. “He should say that but I say NO WAY! – jobs leaving, ISIS, OCare, etc.”Â
Clinton, meanwhile, echoed a message she sent to supporters via email earlier in the day. It was her first tweet in more than a month.Â
The holidays are a time to be thankful for our blessings. Let’s rejoice in this season & look forward with renewed hope & determination. -H

“The holidays are a time to be thankful for our blessings. Let’s rejoice in this season & look forward with renewed hope & determination. -H,” Clinton wrote. Â
The dueling tweets came just days after Trump again suggested that Clinton is a sore loser.Â
