Breaking: Trump Cancels Press Conference That Was Scheduled to Detail How He Will Leave His ‘Great Business in Total’

Transition Team Says Trump Busy Making Cabinet Decisions

Two weeks ago Donald Trump announced via Twitter that he would be holding a press conference this coming Thursday, December 15, that was supposed to explain how he will avoid conflicts of interest. Trump had posted these tweets:

Bloomberg Monday evening reported the cancellation, stating that Trump is postponing until some time next month the press conference. The president-elect has not held a press conference in almost 140 days. This was to be his first.

Here’s how CNN reported the news minutes ago:

Last week The New York Times reported Trump’s daughter Ivanka, and her husband, Jared Kushner, are exploring moving their family to Washington, D.C. to work with President Trump in the White House. Ivanka is expected to relinquish some day-to-day control over her businesses but, like her father, will not give up control entirely.
