“Petty, Vulgar” Trump Allegedly Boots Author Of Unflattering Biography From Golf Course

Book Included Rape Allegation Made By President-elect’s Ex-Wife

The author of an unflattering biography of Donald Trump says the president-elect booted him from one of his Florida golf courses on Friday.

Harry Hurt III is the author of the 1993 biography “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump.” Among other things, Hurt’s book included Ivanka Trump’s allegation from a sworn deposition that her ex-husband raped her during their divorce battle. Trump has denied the allegation.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Hurt said he was set to tee off at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach with billionaire industrialist David H. Koch and two others on Friday. According to Hurt’s post, he approached Trump on the practice green, shook his hand and congratulated him on his election victory.

“You were rough on me, Harry. Really rough. That shit you wrote,” Trump responded, according to Hurt.

Hurt then looked Trump in the eye and said, “It’s all true,” according to the post.

“Not in the way you wrote it,” Trump responded, before telling Hurt it was “inappropriate” for him to play golf at the club and having his security detail escort the author and his playing partners to the parking lot.

“David Koch was appalled,” Hurt said. “He branded Trump ‘petty and vulgar.’ We played Emerald Dunes instead, which is a much, much better golf course than Trump International.”

Earlier this year, the publisher of “Lost Tycoon” refused to reprint the book due to concerns about legal repercussions — a move Hurt called “chicken shit.”

In related news, Trump — who has criticized President Barack Obama for playing too much golf — again ditched his press pool on Saturday to hit the links at another one of his South Florida clubs. The White House Correspondents Association has called Trump’s unprecedented habit of abandoning reporters assigned to cover him “unacceptable.”
