WATCH: Jon Stewart Returns! Teams Up With Stephen Colbert in Musical Skit Urging Americans to Vote

‘Hamilton’ Star Reminds Americans ‘History Has Its Eyes on You’

Jon Stewart joined Stephen Colbert on CBS’s “The Late Show” Monday night in a musical skit urging Americans to get out and vote Tuesday.

The 11-minute number includes the star of Lin Manuel Miranda’s Broadway smash hit, “Hamilton,” Javier Muñoz, and an unnamed “little street urchin” (who may have been in the cast of “Matilda,” we’re wondering…), along with a large cast at the end.

Stewart pretends to not know who is on the ballot, then proceeds to take down Donald Trump.

“What? Are you kidding me?!” Stewart says, hilariously spewing water all over Colbert. “That son of a — are you serious? That angry tax- and draft-dodging little orange groundhog is running for president?”

Later, Stewart says Trump “acts real tough, but he’s a wussy. He’ll probably fill the court with Gary Busey. And then he’ll grab your mother’s –” Colbert stops him. “Kitty cat. Meow.”

Muñoz reminds Stewart, Colbert, and the young girl with an amazing voice the importance of “not throwin’ away your shot” to vote, because “history has its eyes on you.”

Watch. And vote!
