Families of Immigrants Are ‘Terrified Tonight’
CNN commentator Van Jones early Wednesday morning called what appears to be a country moving toward a Donald Trump victory a “white-lash,” a backlash against “a changing country.” In other words, racism.
He says there are parents who are putting their children to bed tonight, “and they’re afraid of breakfast. They’re afraid of how do I explain this to my children.”
Jones added that he has Muslim friends who are asking him if they should leave the country. And families of immigrants who are “terrified tonight.”
