Trump Official Offers Misogynistic Outlook on Florida Results

Early Voting in Florida Concludes With Record Results

A director at Donald Trump’s little-discussed data headquarters in San Antonio, Texas spoke with Bloomberg News about the Florida race, which effectively is do-or-die for the Trump campaign. Trump must win Florida, but Clinton could lose it and still win the race.

Early voting in Florida has exploded. 6.4 million early votes were cast – 2 million more than in 2012 – with Democratic voters beating GOP voters by about 87,000 votes. Nearly 20% of the votes cast were by unaffiliated voters. At the beginning of the early voting period 30% of Republicans were found to be voting for Clinton, and Hispanic voters have come out at historic levels.

Trump’s digital director, Brad Parscale, despite the mountains of evidence to the contrary, thinks Florida will be close.

Here’s how he characterized it – in typical Trump fashion:

“It will be close,” Parscale told Bloomberg. “It’s like predicting your wife’s mood. You have no idea what you’re going to get until you get home.”
