President-Elect Donald Trump Goes on Morning Twitter Tirade Attacking the Press, Again.

‘The Failing @Nytimes Story Is So Totally Wrong on Transition’

President-elect Donald Trump Wednesday morning went on a Twitter tirade, slamming the media – and especially The New York Times. Trump was once again widely chastised by the press Tuesday night after his spokesperson Hope Hicks told reporters the “lid” was on and there would be no further news or movement by the President-elect, yet shortly thereafter Donald and Melania Trump went out to “21,” a steak restaurant without notifying the press pool. 

Trump late Tuesday evening posted a tweet attempting to push back on reports his transition team is in shambles and wholly disorganized. On Tuesday, under the direction of his son-in-law Jared Kushner, anyone associated with Gov. Chris Christie was dismissed from the team or from consideration, although it’s unclear if Christie is still playing an active role. The New Jersey governor, when he was a U.S. Attorney, successfully prosecuted and Kushner’s father, who went to jail as a result.

Trump, still treating the presidency like a reality show, tweeted that everything was very organized an only he knows who the “finalists” are:

Then, early Wednesday morning, Trump slammed The New York Times for a report on the current disastrous state of his transition team, presumably the one titled, “Firings Leave Trump Transition in Disarray.” It notes “officials who had been handling national security for President-elect Donald J. Trump’s transition were dismissed,” and, “Prominent American allies were in the meantime scrambling to figure out how and when to contact Mr. Trump.”
