MSNBC Reports Trump ‘Furious’ at Kellyane Conway for Her Attack on Romney – Conway Calls Report ‘Sexist’

Conway Also Says She Could Have Any Job in Trump’s Administration She Wants

One of Donald Trump’s most passionate and ardent loyalists, former campaign manager and now senior advisor Kellyanne Conway, on Sunday stunned many by attacking Mitt Romney’s candidacy for Secretary of State. Trump reportedly is seriously considering the former presidential candidate, along with Rudy Giuliani, for the coveted position, despite neither being qualified for the role.

Conway on several Sunday morning news shows went after Romney, telling networks that many Trump supporters will feel betrayed should Romney get the job.

“I’m all for party unity, but I’m not sure we have to pay for that with the secretary of State position,” Conway said Sunday. “I think there are concerns that those of us that are loyal have, and we want a secretary of State who’s loyal to the president.”

Monday morning, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski reported that two sources close to Trump say he is “furious” with Conway for “pushing her own agenda.”

“Incoming chief of staff Reince Priebus and incoming chief strategist Stephen Bannon are reportedly becoming frustrated that Conway is not becoming a team player,” The Hill noted.

Conway responded almost immediately, contacting “Morning Joe” producers, and calling their reporting “sexist,” The Hill also reported. It’s unclear how she came to that conclusion.

The head of her own polling firm, Conway also told MSNBC that she can have any job in the Trump administration she wants.

Conway has been one of Trump’s most effective communicators and is credited, along with white nationalist supporter Steve Bannon, for winning Trump the White House.
