Former CIA Head Who Gave Classified Info to Mistress Meeting With Trump Right Now for Secretary of State Interview

Former General Lied to FBI, CIA, and Intentionally Disclosed Classified Information

Retired General David Petraeus, who resigned from the CIA after admitting to an affair, only to later plead guilty to intentionally passing along classified information to his mistress right now is in Trump Tower meeting with Donald Trump in what is reported to be an interview for the coveted Secretary of State role. If confirmed, Petraeus would become the first of the nation’s top diplomats to have been sentenced for the crime.

Depending on when he would theoretically be confirmed, Petraeus could also be the first Secretary of State to serve while serving a sentence of probation. It’s unclear how that could affect his duties. The former Director of the CIA was sentenced in April of 2015 to two years.

Petraeus’ actions were both different and far worse than Clinton’s, including the fact that his actions were intentional, and that he reportedly lied to both the CIA and FBI, while Clinton’s actions were not intentional nor did she lie to federal authorities.

If all this isn’t curious enough, Bloomberg political reporter Jennifer Epstein notes that Petraeus walked into Trump Tower with Anthony Scaramucci, the Trump-supporter who falsely claimed just last week that Trump is pro-LGBT and Elton John would be playing at his inauguration.
