Lying Racist White Nationalist Misogynist, an Unqualified, Fascistic Bully, to Become Leader of the Free World

Donald Trump has won the White House. Despite all odds, including polls that showed Hillary Clinton would likely win the presidency, the billionaire real estate mogul activated America’s angry white voters, the disaffected who saw Barack Obama’s presidency as an affront to their white nationalist values, and the possibility of a woman in the Oval Office too much for them to bear. White supremacists tonight are rejoicing.

FiveThirtyEight gave Clinton about two-to-one odds of winning the White House. The polls had Clinton up on average 3.5 points over Trump.

Clinton may have won the popular vote, but Trump has effectively won the Electoral College.

Clinton has called Trump to concede.

Third party voters handed Florida to Trump, with over 268,000 voting for Gary Johnson and Jill Stein. Trump beat Clinton in Florida by 128,275 votes. Here are CNN’s numbers:

Trump won over white voters without a college degree, especially white men, and a strong portion of white women, along with Christian evangelicals. 

Voters decided they would rather have as president someone they don’t see as qualified than the most-qualified person to run for office in modern times. They literally decided to hand the nuclear codes to a man they do not think is qualified to hold them.

The Manhattan billionaire lied to the American people every day he campaigned, frequently spewing false statements at the rate of over a dozen a day, as documented by Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale.

Short term, expect the stock markets to crash, not only in the U.S. but worldwide.

Heightened incidents of hate crime attacks and violence should be anticipated. 

Trump will have a Republican House and a Republican Senate. He will work to quickly dismantle Obamacare, tossing tens of millions of people off healthcare. Immigrants may be deported by the millions.

Americans should expect an ultra-conservative Supreme Court that will likely continue its assault on civil rights, while expanding gun rights, and possibly find a way to overturn the rights to same-sex marriage and abortion.
