BREAKING: FBI Clears Clinton After Investigation Of Newly Discovered Emails

Comey Says Agency Won’t Change Previous Decision Not To Recommend Charges

The FBI will not recommend criminal charges against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton following its review of new evidence related to her use of a private email server.

In a letter released Sunday, FBI Director James Comey said the agency has reviewed all of the emails sent to or from Clinton while she was secretary of state.

Comey announced nine days ago in a letter to Congress that the FBI was looking into new evidence — which reportedly consisted of emails found on devices belong to disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner and/or his estranged wife, top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

Comey’s widely criticized letter to Congress 11 days before the election helped fuel a surge in the polls for GOP nominee Donald Trump.

“Since my letter, the FBI investigative team has been working around the clock to process and review a large volume of emails from a device obtained in connection with an unrelated criminal investigation,” Comey wrote to members of the House Oversight Committee on Sunday. “During that process, we reviewed all of the communications that were to or from Hillary Clinton while she was Secretary of State. Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July with respect to Secretary Clinton.”
