Nearly 3 in 10 Republicans in Florida Are Voting for Hillary Clinton (Video)
Florida Is a Must-Win State for Trump
Nearly three in ten Republicans who have already voted in Florida have cast their ballots for Hillary Clinton, according to a poll of early Florida voters. A TargetSmart/William & Mary poll finds 28% of registered Republicans have crossed over to Clinton. It also finds among those who have cast their vote already, Clinton is leading Trump 55% to 37%.
Overall, the poll gives Clinton an 8 point lead in the state Donald Trump must win the take the White House.
“We can construct a sample that’s perfectly representative of the people who’ve voted so far,” TargetSmart’s Tom Bonier says.
The poll was released early Tuesday night to MSNBC (video above).Â
