Two Out of Three Voters Believe Trump Probably Has Made Unwanted Sexual Advances Toward Women

Majority Say How Trump Treats Women Is a ‘Legitimate Issue’ in the Campaign

The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll offers new and devastating news for Donald Trump.

Two out of three voters (68%) say they believe the Republican nominee for president probably has made unwanted sexual advances toward women, and 52% say how Trump treats women is a legitimate issue in the campaign. Trump has stringently denied this claim, despite being on tape bragging about it. More than a dozen women have come forward in the past week accusing him of sexual assault or inappropriate behavior.

More than half of Americans (52%) say Trump’s remarks were well beyond “locker room talk.”

That’s far from the only bad news for Trump.

Citing results that “suggest a shift in the dynamics of the race,” the ABC/WaPo poll shows a double-digit drop in enthusiasm from Trump’s supporters, down from 91% to 79%.

Enthusiasm for Clinton is at 83%, and the number of Clinton supporters who say the could still change their mind has dropped, from 16% to just 9%.

On Trump, just 3 out of ten (30%) now say he has strong moral character, down from 36%.

Only 34% say Trump is honest and trustworthy. Clinton now leads Trump on that issue.

And two out of three voters (66%) see Trump unfavorably. Clinton’s unfavorables drop to 53%.
