Trump Refused to Say He Will Accept Results of the Election and it Just Cost Him Any Chance of Winning

Even Far Right Conservatives Agree He ‘Blew It’

Asked by Fox News host Chris Wallace if he will accept the results of the November general election, Donald Trump refused to say.

It was a stunning moment. The Republican nominee for president just told the American people that well over two centuries of the peaceful transfer of power is in jeopardy. It was, by definition, one of the most un-American statements anyone could make, certainly one of the most un-American ever by a presidential candidate.

When pressed on his answer, Trump told Wallace and the American people, “I will look at it at the time.”

“What I’m saying is that I will tell you at the time,” he continued. “I’ll keep you in suspense,” Trump said, almost in a joking manner.

The audience gasped.

Former McCain senior strategist Steve Schmidt on MSNBC announced it was “a disqualifying moment.”

Trump’s response was so damaging, even the far right thought so, and said so on Twitter. Some examples:
