UPDATED: Trump Wants Judge to Exclude Sexual Assault Allegations Made Against Him From Trump University Lawsuit

Says Comments Could ‘Inflame and Prejudice’ Jury

Concerned they would “inflame and prejudice” jurors, Donald Trump’s attorneys are asking a federal judge to ban any comments made about his personal conduct from a lawsuit filed against Trump University. That request extends to comments others have made about Trump as a presidential candidate, and any comments he has made.

Presumably, the request would include the 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape exposing Trump discussing sexual assault, and all the sexual assault and inappropriate behavior accusations made against him, according to the NY Post.

UPDATE: 2:16 PM EDT –
Talking Points Memo notes the request is being made of Judge Gonzalo Curiel, the jurist Trump accused of being biased and possibly unable to render a fair decision because he is “Mexican.” The judge was born in East Chicago, Indiana.

Trump’s request for exclusion also includes “tweets, stump speeches and surrogate statements,” TPM reports. Also, “evidence related to his ‘tax issues,’ ‘personal conduct accusations,’ beauty pageants, casinos, bankruptcies and other matters that have emerged as a part of his presidential bid be left out at trail.”

“Comments about this case or the Court,” Trump also wants to be excluded.
