Top Republicans Denounce Trump’s Comments, Don’t Understand That He Was Talking About Sexual Assault

Not Just Words – Actions Trump Admitted Taking

Reince Priebus, Jeb Bush, John Kasich, Jeff Flake, Mark Kirk, Kelly Ayotte, and other top Republicans have all denounced comments made by Donald Trump that were released Friday afternoon by The Washington Post. And they all denounce Trump’s language, or words, but none of them seem to understand that what Donald Trump was admitting to, apparently, was sexual assault.

“No woman should ever be described in these terms or talked about in this manner. Ever,” RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement. What about Trump’s description of sexual assault acts?

Jeb Bush posted this tweet:

Reprehensible comments, sure, but what about the actions he was describing? Grabbing women’s genitals and getting away with it because he’s a “star.”

John Kasich:

Absolutely. But what about the forced kissing and the “I did try and fuck her”? What about the “Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything“?

Sen. Mark Kirk:

Yes, but he was describing sexual assault. What about that?

Sen. Kelly Ayotte:

OK, but what about the sexual assault part?

Sen. Jeff Flake:

Rep. Cathy McMorris-Rodgers almost gets it, but he wasn’t condoning sexual assault, he was bragging about it:

UPDATE: 8:23 PM EDT –
Far from being a top Republican, but Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, who has repeatedly attacked LGBT people, posted a statement proving not only does he not understand Trump was talking about sexual assault, he effectively defends him:
