Ted Cruz Is Personally Calling Texas Voters Urging Them to Come Out and Vote – for ‘Freedom’

Freedom’s Just Another Word for Nothing Left to Lose, Apparently Including Your Own Dignity

Failed Republican presidential candidate and freshman U.S. Senator Ted Cruz finally endorsed Donald Trump last month, completing the cycle of hypocrisy. He’s now taking another turn around that cycle, by actively phone-banking Texas Republicans to come out and vote – presumably for Trump, which Cruz is calling “freedom.”

Before embracing the Manhattan billionaire, Cruz had called Trump “a pathological liar,’ a ‘bully,’ and a ‘narcissist’ with ‘New York values‘ during the primary,” as Esquire notes.

Cruz earlier this year said, “Donald Trump may be a rat but I have no desire to copulate with him,” after Trump pushed a National Enquirer story claiming the Texas Republican is having extramarital affairs with five women.

When Trump tweeted an ugly, juvenile threat against Cruz’s wife, Heidi, the Tea Party Senator called Trumpa big, loud New York bully,” and “a sniveling coward.”

Just two weeks ago Cruz finally acquiesced, announcing, After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.”

But Cruz has done everything possible to say he thinks Trump is fit to actually, be president, refusing to answer the question.

Yet here was Ted Cruz Wednesday evening, phone-banking Texas voters, urging them to come out and vote. For “freedom.”

Because freedom’s just another word for nothing left to loose, including your own dignity.
