Megyn Kelly Tells Newt Gingrich to Work on His Anger Issues After He Accuses Her of Being Fascinated With Sex

Gingrich Defends Donald Trump: ‘He’s Not a Sexual Predator!’

Donald Trump surrogate Newt Gingrich attacked Megyn Kelly Tuesday night, accusing the Fox New host of being “fascinated with sex” after she began a question by saying, “If Trump is a sexual predator.”

“He’s not a sexual predator!,” Gingrich, the thrice-married former Speaker of the House who had to resign after ethics issues and a disastrous “Contract with America” collapsed, interjected. “You can’t say that! You could not defend that statement!”

It went downhill from there.

“I am sick and tired of people like you using language that’s inflammatory that’s not true!” Gingrich, one of Trump’s last remaining surrogates, continued.

“I’m not taking a position on it,” Kelly, calmly, responded, adding later, “You have no idea whether it’s true or not.”

Gingrich then lost control.

“You are fascinated with sex and you don’t care about public policy. That’s what I get out of watching you tonight,” he accused.

“You know what Mr. Speaker, I’m not fascinated by sex, but I am fascinated by the protection of women and understanding what we’re getting in the Oval Office,” Kelly explained.

Gingrich then tried to equate the Bill Clinton to Donald Trump.

“I want to hear you use the words ‘Bill Clinton’ and ‘sexual predator’ – I dare you,” he screamed.

Kelly would not allow it.

“We’re going to leave it at that, and you can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them, Mr. Speaker. Thanks for being here.”
